In the Scottish Highlands, most visitor attractions are closed in the off-season: approximately from end of September until Easter which is, of course, a movable feast. However there are some notable exceptions such as Urquhart Castle, Inverewe Gardens and Culloden Battlefield/Visitor Centre. Apart from its cultural heritage, Scotland’s most captivating asset is the beauty and, in some cases, grandeur of its natural environment. Subject to weather conditions, we are happy to create your very own out-of-season tour for you, as long as you appreciate that it may not always be possible to show you the animals you want to see or to access every destination on your itinerary, if the weather plays tricks on us. Owing to climate change, it has become practically impossible to obtain a reliable long-term weather forecast at any time.
